Phone and messaging
Understand when an AgentPhone number is available for your workspace.
On this page
check your workspace’s access#
Open Plugins and look for AgentPhone under Channels. Access depends on the workspace’s entitlement, number assignment, and current channel status. Use the plan or setup action shown there to understand what is needed.
Having access to AgentPhone does not by itself mean that a number is already assigned or that every inbound and outbound feature is enabled.
use the assigned number#
When a number is assigned and the channel is ready, use the number displayed for your workspace. Supported incoming messages and completed-call transcripts can enter Puffle’s conversations through the phone channel.
The channel’s available capabilities determine what Puffle can receive or send. Do not assume that an available inbound number also enables every outbound action.
billing and setup questions#
AgentPhone has its own account and billing arrangements. Check the current plan details and AgentPhone’s dashboard before relying on a particular capability.
If the channel is awaiting assignment or shows an unexpected status, contact support with the workspace name and visible status. Do not use a number assigned to another workspace as a workaround.
